Urfi Javed was born in Muslim household Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh India on 15 October 1997. She did her education from Metropolis Montessori College, Lucknow. She graduated from Amity College, Lucknow in Mass Communication.Javed started relationship her Meri Durga co-actor Paras Kalnawat in 2017 however the duo broke up in 2018.
In 2022, she introduced her change of title to Uorfi in social media, and urged that she be referred to by her new title. Though pronounced the identical, the change in spelling was achieved on recommendation of a numerologist.
